10”/250mm EDCO Metal Grinding Plate for Polished Concrete ED-01
10”/250mm EDCO Metal Grinding Plate for Polished Concrete ED-01 is metal bond grinding plate designed for use with EDCO and some more planetary grinders. This tooling is used for polished concrete with steps from coarse grinding to fine polishing.
The coarse grinding start from the use of rough diamond segments 6# in a metal base. The segment with this grit is much coarse to remove stains, dirt or light coatings from concrete as preparation before next polishing. This initial coarse grinding will contain a three or four step process (6/16/30/60#) depending on the concrete surface condition .
The next steps start from the fine grinding of the concrete surface from 80# using metal diamond abrasives. The next grits of grinding plate will contain 80/120/150/200# to make the floor even and fine looking.
For best results and optimal life, we need to inspect the concrete and know the hardness of them before working. Different hardness request different bond to avoid heat up.
Please note that the floors must need to clean 100% without any bolts or other small objects, it is to prevent damage to our grinding tools, machine and floor.
